All Sunshine & Rainbows….
We are astonished to acknowledge that we have already officially entered the Summer season. Although the weather is becoming warmer, it is important to remember that not every day will be filled with sunshine and rainbows; sometimes, a little rain is necessary to appreciate the beauty of the rainbow. At Rainbow Valley, we promote a lifestyle of gratitude. Take a moment to ask yourself, “What made you smile today?” and experience the positive effects of gratitude.

Rainbow Valley is THRIVING
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully conducted three 7 Steps to Health courses, with an additional three planned for the latter half of the year. This will assist in addressing our continually expanding waiting list. Furthermore, we have recently completed our pilot Sleep Aid course and have arranged for two more this year. This progress has only been achievable due to your generous fundraising efforts.
We have a variety of events scheduled for your this year. We are currently seeking models who wish to be involved in our Fashion show ‘Brave to WEAR’ in August. Additionally, we are in search of MEN for our Brave to BARE event taking place in March of next year, so feel free to nominate yourself or a friend. Please email jane@rainbowvalley.org.uk. Below, you will find further details on how to attend one of these events and assist us in realizing our vision to educate and empower individuals impacted by cancer.

Help yourself THRIVE..
Benefits of Blue light
As the days grow longer and sunlight becomes more abundant, it is essential to take advantage of this season. The sun not only contributes positively to our Vitamin D levels, but there are numerous advantages to being outdoors. Blue Light, particularly natural sunlight, provides various benefits such as regulating the body’s natural sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm), increasing alertness, enhancing mood, and improving cognitive function. Nevertheless, excessive exposure to blue light, particularly from artificial sources during in the evening, can interfere with sleep and may lead to other adverse effects. Consequently, this summer, indulge yourself by spending more time outdoors and reaping the benefits.
You made us smile….
We would not be able to accomplish our mission without the fundraising efforts of everyone involved. Rainbow Valley greatly depends on this support, and it truly warms our hearts to learn about individuals who are organising their own events, making donations in memory of a loved one, or requesting contributions for their birthdays. While we would love to express our gratitude to each and every one of you who has raised funds for us (every contribution is valued), we would like to extend a special acknowledgment to our top fundraisersso far this year………
